are issued by the Probate Court, before distributions are made to beneficiaries.
Depending on the complexity and size of the estate, transfers to beneficiaries
can be complete within a year, or longer .
For a Living Trust Estate, accounts and property (titled in a Living Trust) can be transferred to the beneficiaries after the successor trustee determines if there any filing and reporting procedures, and after determining if funds might be required to pay any of the following: any estate administration costs, funeral costs, final medical expenses, other valid debts, estate taxes, and final income taxes.
